Adverbs of frequency

Adverbs of frequency tell us how often something happens: always, often, sometimes, usually, never... They stand in front of a main verb or after TO BE.

We usually go to school on foot.

They are never late.

Prilozi za učestalost nam govore koliko često se nešto dešava: uvek, često, ponekad, obično, nikad... Stoje ispred glavnog glagola ili iza glagola BITI/JESAM.

Mi često idemo u školu peške.

Oni nikad ne kasne.

Put the adverbs in the correct place in the sentences:

1 They go to the playground. (sometimes)

2 James plays computer games in the evening. (always)

3 Mary helps her mother. (often)

4 They eat bread and butter for breakfast. (usually)

5 Ben sleeps late in the morning. (always)

Play naughts-and-crosses in teams, using the following words:

after    -     often     -    every,
