MUCH/MANY/A LOT OF

MUCH, MANY and A LOT OF are quantifiers. We use them to show the quantity or number of something.

We use MUCH in questions and negative forms, with uncountable nouns only.

We use A LOT OF in affirmative sentences, with both uncountable and countable nouns.
