TO BE Present Simple

TO BE can be both a main and an auxiliary verb in some tenses. It has 3 forms in the present simple tense:

I am/'m happy.
You are/'re at school.
He is/'s at home.
She is/'s in the shop.
It is/'s morning.

We are/'re in the classroom.
You are/'re good friends.
They are/'re in the street.

In questions, the subject and the verb switch places:
Am I sad?
Are you at home?
Is he at school?

For negative sentences, add NOT after the verb:
I am not/'m not sad.
You are not/aren't at home.
He is not/isn't at school.

Always use the present simple forms of TO BE when talking about your or somebody else's age:
I'm eleven years old.
