Shopping

Put the questions and answers in the correct order to make the dialogue between a customer and the sales assistant:
S: That's 40p, please.
S: That's £5.40 altogether, please.
S: Thank you.
S:  It's £5.
C: Here you are.
C: How much are these postcards?
C: And how much is this yellow T-shirt?
C: Thank you.
C: I'll take it, please.
C: Can I have these four, please?
S: The small postcards are 10p each and the large postcards are 15p each.
S: That's 60p change.

Use this dialogue as a model to make your own. Use these prices:  T-shirt - £6.50, pens - 85p each, a badge - 70p, jeans - £28.95, a jacket - £56. You can ask to try something on in a changing room.

Look at the shopping list. Write the prices in full:
crisps - 75p
drinks - £1.20
sweets - 4op
comics - £1.65
total = £4

Write a composition about shopping. These questions may help you:
1 Do you like to go shopping?
2 Who do you go shopping with?
3 Where do you go shopping?
4 What do you buy at a bookshop/supermarket?
5 Where do you pay for it?
6 Have you got any pocket money?
7 What do you buy with your pocket money?
